A True Neighborhood Gathering Spot
Come hang in our taproom, one of the most unique in Houston, where we serve up serious beer in a welcoming space.
Originally built in 1911 and then rebuilt after a fire in 1948, the building housed the RB Everett Company, which specialized in heavy construction equipment supply, until the early 2000s. Comfortably seating 80, our taproom boasts all original brickwork, window frames, and flooring, carefully blending our new industrial feel with the original attributes of the building.

We have about 2000 square feet of indoor climate-controlled space available with two accessible gender-neutral restrooms in the taproom itself and two larger accessible restrooms just a short walk down the hall in the building lobby. We do not have a kitchen on-site, but you are welcome to provide catering for your event, or we can reach out to some of our preferred food vendors if you’d like us to. We have a projector and audio available in our taproom space for film or slideshows for an additional fee.
F.A.Q.
Our taproom usually has food 5 days a week, from Wednesday through Sunday. We typically rotate a few preferred food partners during the week and weekend. You are also always welcome to bring your own food or order food for delivery.
Here is our current taproom menu for you to peruse. We also offer a limited selection of ciders, wines, and other specialty lambics and rare bottles from time to time.
We like to rotate new beers regularly through the taproom as well as reprise old favorites. As such, some beers won’t always be available. Usually, we will have something available that will at least get you in the ballpark, so let our bartenders know what you’re looking for and they will help you find something close. We tend to keep our bartenders up to date on our current beer release schedule, so feel free to ask. If it’s on the schedule, they will surely tell you.
Dogs are the best, aren’t they? If you bring your dog to the taproom, we ask that you be respectful of your neighbors and please keep your pup leashed and under control. If your pooch can’t behave and is bothering other guests, then we may have to ask you to take him/her outside.
We ask that you get permission to have a share. Please send us a note through our contact form.
We do, but due to limited availability we tend to fill kegs on a request basis. If you would like to inquire about keg availability, or reserve a keg from a future batch, please send us a note through our request form.
No. It is against the law to consume beer sold as “to-go” on premise.
At this time our brewery is quite busy with a lot of operations occurring simultaneously. It is dangerous for both our employees and for you to have more people in the area than necessary. As such, we are not offering tours of the brewing facility.
Absolutely! We are just a block or two from the Coffee Plant stop on the Green Line. You are welcome to park your car at the brewery for free, have a beer or two, and then take the train or a car to the stadium.
If you come to our taproom, you will notice that there are not any TVs. This is intentional as we feel like being in a brewery taproom is about enjoying the company of and engaging with the people around you. It’s hard to do that watching a TV, so we made a decision to be old-school about it and not have any. We do have free wi-fi if you would like to watch the game on your phone, otherwise there are a lot of great spots with lots of TVs right near us.
We don’t offer any gluten free products that are made in house, but we do offer a selection of wines and ciders that are gluten free. Feel free to ask your bartender for guidance.
We offer a few non-alcoholic options like soda and sparkling water. There is always plenty of iced water available for you and for any pets.
Sadly, Texas law prohibits our brewery from shipping any of our product. Perhaps one day this will change, but for now, coming by the taproom or finding us at one of our retail partners is your best bet. If you live in the Houston/Austin/Dallas areas, you may be able to find us on hopdrop.
Sweet! Just email us at sales@equalpartsbrewing.com and we will take care of you!
Yes, this brewery was originally called Sigma. The name was meant to be a personal reminder to the founders of what the brewery meant to them. Sigma is a sum operator in math, and this brewery was the sum of everything to them, so the name made sense. But as the brewery grew, it became special to a lot of other people, so while it still meant everything to the founders, the name didn’t feel appropriate anymore because so many others had contributed so much. After a lot of soul searching, we decided to change the name to represent more of what the brewery had grown into, something that was built in Equal Parts by the founders and their employees, and by the brewery team and the community around us. So, we just changed the name. All the same folks are here, all the same people make the beer, but now we all share a connection with the name of the brewery.
